Hall’s presentation compares different dialects of Oregon Athabaskan languages to determine both the similarities and differences and their potential to inform continued language revitalization of these languages/dialects in Oregon Indigenous communities.
Jaeci Hall is a fourth year PhD Student in the Department of Linguistics and a researcher at the Northwest Indian Language Institute (NILI). She is working on the revitalization of her heritage language, Tututni, from southern Oregon.
